Show THE PRINCE consolidated the prince consolidated mining smelting smelling Sm elting company operating near pioche nevada is in better condition for prolonged and successful operation than ever before in its history and expects to make a great production and dividend paying record in 1918 the company owns nineteen patented claims a nine mile railroad the bullionville Bulli onville tailings the dry valley tailings lands and water rights the company began dividend payments in july 1915 and to date has paid its stockholders a total of in velvet money and up to the first of the year had produced tons of ore containing gold silver lead iron lime and manganese the mine is in excellent physical condition and capable of a large production for many years to come during the past year extensive developments were made by means of diamond drilling below water level from the deepest levels of the mine resulting in the uncovering of several beds of high grade sulphide ore ranging from ten tell to fifteen feet in thickness at a depth of feet below the lowest working level of tile the mine which is approximately iiii abely 1000 feet from the surface the underlying quartzite was encountered forming a contact bed of ore eleven feet thick between the quartzite and lime that carries values of 45 per ton in its gold silver lead and zinc content A vertical fissure vein varying from a few inches to ten feet in width penetrates through the various beds and below water level this vein shows considerable galena and high grade silver ore it is the intention of the company to install a pumping plant and go after the existing below water level in september last tests were made on the bullionville Bulli onville tailings with a K K X flotation machine since which time three more machines of this make have been installed and the companas comp anys milling plant overhauled the plant is now giving excellent results and is treating about tons of tailings per day it is planned to add more K K machines and double the capacity of the plant concentrates are going to the market and conditions at the bullionville Bulli onville plant are most satisfactory W C browne is mine superintendent and frank sheperd is in charge of the bul li onville mill |
