State of Utah, do hereby certify that as such official, I have the custody cus-tody of the records and files of the proceedings of the Board of Trustees of said Town; that the above and foregoing is a full, true and correct copy of an Ordinance Or-dinance passed by the Board of Trustees of Bald Town of Bingham Bing-ham Canyon, on the 30 day of March, A. D. 1938. entitled: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING PROVID-ING FOR CALLING A SPECIAL SPE-CIAL ELECTION FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING SUBMITT-ING TO T"E QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF BINGHAM CANYON, SALT LAKE COUNTY, STATE OF UTAH. THE QUESTION OF INCURRING BONDED INDEBTEDNESS AS FOLLOWS: (a) IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,000.00 FOR THE PURPOSE OF INCREASING, IN-CREASING, IMPROVING, ENLARGING (AND EXTENDING EXTEN-DING THE PRESENT WATERWORKS WA-TERWORKS SYSTEM FOR THE PURPOSE OF MORE ADEQUATELY SUPPLYING SAID TOWN AND THE INHABITANTS IN-HABITANTS THEREOF WITH WATER, WHICH SAID WATER SYSTEM AND WORKS SHALL BE said cemetery shall be owned own-ed and controlled by said Town?" NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Saturday, the 30th day of Aprils A. D. 1938, special bond election will be held within the limits of the Town of Bingham Bing-ham Canyon, Salt Lake County, State of Utah, for the purpose of submitting to such qualified electors elec-tors of said Town as shall have' paid a property tax therein in the year next preceding such election, the following propositions: proposi-tions: (a) "Shall the negotiable coupon cou-pon bonds of the Town of Bingham Canyon, Salt Lake County, State of Utah, in the sum of Nineteen Thousand Thous-and 'Dollars ($19,000.00) bearing interest at the rate of not to exceed 3 34 per annum, payable semi-annually, due and payable serially within twenty years from date of issue, be Issued and sold for the purpose of increasing, in-creasing, improving, enlarging enlarg-ing and extending the present pres-ent water works system ifor the purpose of more adequately adequat-ely supplying said Town and the inhabitants thereof with water, which said water system sys-tem and works shall be owned own-ed and controlled by said Town?" i (b) "Shall the negotiable coupon cou-pon bonds of the Town of Bingham Canyon, Salt Lake County, State of Utah, in the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) bearing interest at : the rate of not to exceed 3 34 per annum, payable" semi-annually, due and payable within twenty years from date of issue, be issued and sold for the purpose pur-pose of defraying the expense ex-pense of acquiring and constructing con-structing a municipal playground play-ground in said Town to be used for public, municipal purposes of said Town and for the use and convenience of the inhabitants thereof, which said municipal playground play-ground shall be owned and controlled by said municipality?" municipa-lity?" That the Town Clerk be and he is hereby authorized au-thorized and directed to communicate com-municate such instructions to said Judges of such special election elect-ion as may be neessary to enable ena-ble them to properly conduct such election, canvass the votes and certify thereof to said Board of Trustees of the Town of Bingham Bing-ham Canyon, Utah, as required by law and that said Town Clerk shall cause ballots to be printed In the form set forth in said notice and furnish said ballots' to the Judges of said election to be furnished to the qualified e-lectors e-lectors thereat, and that said Town Clerk shall also provide ballot boxes, poll books and all stationary necessary for the use of said Judges at said election. SECTION 6. That the Town Clerk be and he is hereby instructed in-structed and directed to cause copy of this Ordinance to be published immediately in one Issue Is-sue Of the BINGHAM BULLETIN, BULLE-TIN, a newspaper published and having a general circulation in the Town of Bingham Canyon, Salt Lake County. Utah, and that a certified copy thereof be deposited depos-ited in the office of said Town Clerk. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, ORDAIN-ED, that in the opinion of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Bingham Canyon, it is necessary neces-sary for the immediate preservation preserva-tion of the peace, health and safety of said Town and the inhabitants in-habitants thereof that this Ordinance Ordi-nance take effect and be in force at once; that an emergency is hereby declared; and that this Ordinance shall, therefore, take effect Immediately upon its a-doption. a-doption. approval and publication. publica-tion.
