Show The Stabbing Affray. Ti.e examination of witnesses in tbe stabbing aflray ot last Saturday night was commenced yesterday morning and continued throughout the day. The first witness examined was Dr. Benedict; . his testimony was followed by that of Officer John Y. Smith, who assisted in making the arrests, James Watson, night-! watchman, who witnessed the brawl and arrested Wilson, was the last wit-nes wit-nes examined. The testimony so far given is c irroborative and is similar, in neariy every particular, lo tbe statement iu the Herald on Sunday Sun-day morning. A continuance of the case was taken until this morning, when the examination of witnesses for the prosecution will proceed. In the meantime, Wilson and Brown continue at liberty on $500 bonds each. Wyatt is recoveriue verv raoidlv. and was yesterday considered sufficiently suffi-ciently well by Dr. Benedict to be brought before the court. However, he was not c illed.
