Show Burned to Death. On Monday night, a 12 year old girl of W. O. Mayfield, of Farmingtoo, waa burned to dc.ith through the breaking of a lamp. It appears the child was carrying the lamp, aud stumbling over her brother, dropped it, the flames igniting the oil and then commuuica'.iuc with her cloth ing. Her father covered her with a piece of carpet and smothered the fire, but not until tho little girl had been so terribly burned aa to ultimately ulti-mately cause her demise. Dr. Benedict Bene-dict was called, and upon arriving at Farmington on Tuesday morning, learned that alter suffering the most intense pain, tho child expired at f o'clock of that morning.
