Btebbina fc Co.,- Drexel, Morgan i Co., and some-twenty-five hundred others, including a majority of tho presidents of the banks in the Clearing Houbo Association, Associa-tion, saying that they appeal from their own judgment to the language of tho moat eminent statesmen in tho Senate and House of Representative!, in IS'iii, for justification in their belief be-lief that a further issue of greenbacks, under the existing circumstances, without warrant of necessity, will inflict in-flict a stain on tho honor of tho Republic, Re-public, and impair confidence in uvcry future pledge and promise given in its name A committee, including J.
