Show Arrivals. Among the arrivals at the Walker House last night were Col. Ferry, brother of U. S. Senator Ferry, of Michigan, a banker of wealth and en-; en-; terprise at Grand Haven; Hon. L. M. Mason, late member of the Constitutional Constitu-tional Convention of Michigan, and a lumber dealer at Muskegan, of great ability and success in business, and Fredcflck A. Nims, Esq., the leading lawyer of western Michigan, all of whom are the owners of the Flagstaff mine, in Parley's Park. These gen tlemen, we learn, will soon erect a mill to crush the ore they are now, and have been for a long time, taking out of their mine there. . That a stamp mill in Parley's Park, economically erectand run by such very thorough business men as these gentlemen are, would prove a most profitable investment, no man can doubt. The Ontario, Flagstaff, Walker Walk-er & Webster, and MoHenry mines, are very rich in ore, and can produce enough to keep a twenty stamp mill employed to its utmost capacity. No ( better men are found any where than these Michigan capitalists, and they i are always welcome to Utah. |
