Show ! ; Kf signed- -Gu Friday Mr. Joseph H. Noun-nan, Noun-nan, Clerk of the- Third District Court, tendered hU resignation, to take effect on and after Monday. For upwunla pf a year and a half Mr. N. has occupied the position which he is about to leave, and by true courtesy and genial business conduct has won and holds the respect of the entire community; and hia resignation is the subject of universal regret, both of the bar and the public who have business with the office. Under hia management the clerk's oflice has become a place of strictest order and thorough arrangement such an office as the clerk's should be. For many courtesies extended to the Herald, Mr. N. has our sincerest thanks, and we join with his ho3tof friends in wishing him pleasant success suc-cess in whatover business he may now engage. Mr. Ed. B. McKean, sou to Chic! Justice McKean, will succeed to the oflico ot clerk. The young gentle man was at one timo Mr. Nounaan s deputy, and therefore has a knowledge know-ledge of the office. |
