Show Uiv W. U. Telegraph. THE CALDWELL CASE. Chicago. S. A Washington special says there is no probability that any action will be taken in the Caldwell case at ibis session of the senate. Senators complain that they have not been able to examine the voluminous testimony taken by the committee and without doing so they are not prepared to vote. They allege that they want to take the testimony home and read it during the vacation. Of course this means that nothing whatever will be done with Caldwell. |
