Show .Moiuu'chy Sot Certain. Paris, 8. A very inharmonious meeting of the members of the extreme ex-treme Left was held to-day. Among those present were Gambetta, Cre-mieux Cre-mieux and Challemil Lacour. A number of letters from the provinces were read, expressing strong aversion to the establishment of a monarchy, an aversion which is daily increasing. Gambetta declared he felt not the least anxiety concerning the permanency perman-ency of the republic. He was certain the proposition to establish a monarchy monar-chy could not obtain the vote of a majority of the Assembly. |
