It is illustrated, its wood engraving being done hy Me.-srs. ; Campe fc Holter, of this city, two gentlemen who are very superior workmen. The first number contains an excellent wood cut of "Alia City, looking west down Little Cottonwood;" Cotton-wood;" and lor clearness of outline and corrcctncsi of detail it will com-j pare with the best woM engravings of die east. The new weekly is devoted to milling, commerce, and tin' male-rial male-rial resources of the Territory; it contains a very large amount of interesting inter-esting information; is well printed, with clear typo on good paper, in quarto form; and is edited with unquestioned un-questioned ability. There is a field for the 'idzir, iwvl we sec. no reason why It should not prosper and have a long and useful career. Its price is four dollars a year. SI Mark's School lor -ir!s. We have received the third annual circular of St. Mark's School for Girls. This school, since its etab-lishment, etab-lishment, Sept. -", 1S71, has steadily grown in favor, and takes high rank as an educational institution for girls. The course of study embraces those branches of learning most useful to females, and the discipline and regulations regu-lations observed in the school are all that could he required.
