A "German named nam-ed Camper Hern, employed by Brown, Williamson A: Co., at their lumber mill, a few miles from this place, had his leg broken below the knee and sustained other injuries to-day, by the falling of a log while engaged at his vocation. Yesterday, a party left Aptos on an excursion, and Mr. W. W. Armstrong, Arm-strong, one of the number, left the party alout '2 p.m. to enjoy a nimble. That was the last seen of him, and great anxiety is manifested regarding his absence. |
