Show The San Feancisco Circus. Colonel Wilson arrived at Ogden on the 3rd, from New York, and on the 4th the sale of the baggage stock, harness, har-ness, wagons, mules and coaches of the old circus took placo as advertised. The horses, mules and harness brought a good price. Bishop Herrick and Mr. Byrne wero tho priucipal purchasers, pur-chasers, the latter gentleman buying over $2,000 worth. Bishop Herrick, we aro informed, obtained seme splendid splen-did horses. Mr. Heed, of Ih'ta city, bought the wagons. Col. Wilson has engaged the beat taloDt that could be obtained for his reorganized circus, but in consequence of being compelled to appear at the Caiiluruia Stato Fair, he will be unable at this tiuic to perform per-form in Salt Lake as announced, and the entire oireus out tic and company were shipped last evening for Sacramento, Sacra-mento, lie hopes to return here at an early day, and give a scries of performances per-formances worthy of tho moat extended patronage. |
