Show Called. We received a call yesterday yes-terday from Messrs. D. W. Hendrick-fon Hendrick-fon and Win. H. Knau-s, representing represent-ing the New Jersey miUmg and furnace company, which has been in successful operation, in Ophir, since July last. Mr. Thomas Gatehouse, formerly con- nected with the Utah mining company's j works in Bingham, a gentleman of ex-1 ex-1 cclient reputation, has assumed the j superintendeccy of their works, in place of Mr. Wo. Faucett, who has I gone eat to arrange for erecting furnaces for the company. It ia satisfactory satis-factory to learn of mining operations being so successful as these gentlemen report their's to be, as it gives increased in-creased confidence to the mining and milling interests of the Territory which are yet but in the infancy of their greatness and wealth. Our Jersey friends have our best wishes for their continued success here. |
