Show I Old Friends. On Sunday morn-1 morn-1 ing our old and esteemed friends Mr. and Mrs. John N. Noels arrived in our city from New York. Mr. Neels represents the well-known house of Benedict, Hall & Co., the extensive manufacturers and dealers in boots and shoe?, of New York. This firm is well-known as one of the most rclia b!c in the country; doing a large bus iness in this city, where its honorable honora-ble dealing is not more appreciated than is the friendship of its members. Lis representative Mr. Neels and his amiable lady arc among the most welcome wel-come visitors to Salt Lake. Their many friends will join us in wishing ihem a pleasant sojourn. In oompany with Mr. and Mrs. Neels came their friend R. It. Robertson, Robert-son, Esq., of Austin, Texas, a genial gentleman who visited our oity last year and mad-J a number of warm friends, who will be glad to renew his acquaintance. Mr. Robertson represents repre-sents the firm of Wm. Linahan & Son, of Baltimore, and will spend several days here in the interest of his firm. |
