Show Beaten in Advance. Wo have been reading a number of radical Republican Re-publican organs, and have come to the conclusion that poor Greeley's nomination nomi-nation was a terrible blunder. He won't carry a State; in fact it is questionable ques-tionable if anybody will vote for him. Had Edward S. Stokes, Ltbbio Garra-brandt, Garra-brandt, Laura D. Fair, or any other prominent man of that stripo been put forward, there is a probability that they would havo secured a show of votes; but "Honest old Iloraco is beaten badly in the advance. W hy so many newspapers and leading politicians politi-cians should 6ay otherwise, and evidently evi-dently mean it, is tho deuce of the mystery. |
