Show Train in Omaha. ---By the Omaha papers wo notice that a strong invitation invita-tion has been extended to George Francis Train by leading Omaha citizens cit-izens to deliver a lecture in that ciiy at an early day, and that Mr. Train has accepted. Oa the list of names inviting the lecturer we notice those of Dr. Miller of the Herald and Major Balcotubc of the TriLunc and Hfpub-tVrtM, Hfpub-tVrtM, which shows that however those two papers may differ ia politic, their editors and proprietors recognize the valuable aid which Mr. Train has given Omaha by his admirable system of advertising it. Train goes forward , in his march to tho White House, and stranger things have come to pass ' than his prediction of beinc the next President. There is sneh an evident breaking up ofold parties and such a disposition on the part of (he people to vote as they please, that there is no saying with any degree of positive-ness positive-ness what may occur. |
