Show "ILuilet" To-night. Miss Rose Evans announces "Hamlet" for her benefit to-night, with a powerful cast. The lady, herself, will appear as 'Hamlet;" Mr. Waldron as the King; Miss Adams as Gertrude; Mrs. Waldron Wal-dron as Ophelia; Mr. McKenzie as Polonious; Mr. Power as Laertes; Mr. Thorne as the Ghost; Mr. Margetts as the Gravedigger; Mr. Mackintosh as Horatio; and Mrs. A. Clawson as Os-rie, Os-rie, Wltl1 a careful distribution of the other parts. Miss Evans has a fine reputation as "Hamlet," a character attempted by but few ladies, and they of the highest rank of histrionic ability. abil-ity. Mrs. Waldron has won a fame in the character of Ophelia; Miss Adams' Queen we have seen and admired; Mr. Waldron plays the King with great ability; while most of the other parts are as cast here before, excepting Mr. Thome's Ghost and Mr. Power's Laertes. "Hamlet" to-night will be the sensation sen-sation of the season. It will also be the last appearance but one of Miss Evans. |
