Show lr01o Poiuts PROVO Aug 26The Ladies Democratic Demo-cratic cub held a very interesting meeting last evening which was well attended and showed that the ladies of Provo at least are capable of giving the men some pointers on the mode of studying the great political questions before the American people today Mrs Strong read 8 part of Bryans great New York speech Mrs Patten delivered an address on the importance of women educating themselves on the political question Mrs Bullock read a paper on the life of Andrew Jackson portraying very vividly the great mans life from his marriage to his death Some very fine singing was enjoyed by those present in fact the meeting was voted a great success A marriage license was given today to Charles Bissell and Annie Wignall jf Springville Judge Hatch stopped off in Provo today to-day on his way home from Vernal Court Reporter Roberts accompanied Judge Hatch Captain Adam Paul of Salt Lake is in Provo today on business Mrs Nettie King returned t her home in Provo last evening after a two weeks visit with her parents at Cottonwood |
