| Show H MADE A ERROR ATTORNEY ALLEY DID NOT ASK FOR ALL HIS FEES Searching the Statutes He Discovers That He Has Overlooked Something Some-thing Business Transacted Yesterday Yes-terday in Probate Court Yesterdays session of probate court was enlivened by a hearing on the petition pe-tition of C E Allen administrator of the estate of Frank Crocker for the allowance of final account and distribution distri-bution of the property Incidentally an account of Mr Allens for 1378 was among the bills and on behalf of certain cer-tain of the heirs Attorney Hurd appeared ap-peared to object to its allowance I appears that Mr Allen was appointed to succeed Mrs Crocker in the closing up of the estate and the objections made were upon the ground that the amount claimed was excessive and that a part should be credited to the former administration Mr Allen speaking in his own be half said that upon an examination of the law he had discovered that he had not claimed all that he was entitled to He was anxious to get the estate settled set-tled and would have accepted the amount stated in his claim had not the search of the statutes for authority contrary to that cited by Mr Hurd revealed the true state of affairs He asked for time in which to amend which was granted and the case was continued until this morning The other probate business transacted trans-acted yesterday was a follows Estate of MarIon J Jones order made appointing Sarah I Jones ad ministratrix with bonds In the sum of 600Estate Estate of Annie W Clays decree of due and legal notice to creditors and order of sale of real estate made i |
