Show OUR CATTLE MARKET Within the past two months a leading lead-ing cattle man of this jntermountaln country has brought to Ogden two I train loads of choice beef cattle and I has disposed of them within less than twentyfour hours after they arrived I The last lot arrived Sunday night and 1 were sold early Monday morning This gentleman finds that Ogden is a good market for good cattle and that he can dispose of prime stock at good prices I there was sufficient enterprise among our citizens to establish the right kind of stock yards In this vicinity there would not only be an occasional train load of steers brought here for sale but several trains daily would arrive from the north and west loaded with the choice range cattle of this intermountain region I yards suitable for handling a reasonable number of cattle were established near here the stock business vjould increase more than 500 per cent in less than one year and in time kindred enterprises would follow which would work wonders won-ders to the city cityTAT THAT GUANO Word has been received from the Ogden parties on Gunnison Island and advices confirmed all that has been said in favor of the deposit Of course the experts make the provision that the guano must be free from sand gano This requirement can be easily met for the sand only occurs where the waves wash up over the shores of the island I is understood
