Show AT BEAUTIFUL SALTAIR I I SUCCESSFUl EXCntsIX lIVEN 1JY I L lIE TAJIEIlVCtE CHOIR J The Ogden Choir Also Present i Largest Attendance Since Iii hoer Day Dancing in the Ey sling > II I I Saltair seldom wore a more animated I appearance than yesterday I was the i i outing at the beach of the Tabernacle choir and when Salt Lakes sweet singers sing-ers were recruited by the choir from Ogden I Og-den the crowd at the handsome resort I was the largest that has been there since I the 24th Each train was fled to the utmost ut-most and hundreds of friends and admirers admir-ers of the choiristers from each city were in attendance The bathing was unusually good and the pleasant weather enticed scores of the excursionists into the brine Singins was of course a prominent attraction at-traction and tho choir under the leadership leader-ship of J > rot Stephens upheld well its enviable reputation for superior choral ability The several selections rendered were stirring and appropriate and were given in the best style of the local choir A quartette by the well known soloists Miss Dwyer Miss Penrose Miss Cooper and Miss Musser was an artistic rendition rendi-tion and was received with marked appreciation ap-preciation Mr Anderson of the Ogden choir also delighted those who thronged the pavilion with his strong well trained baritone After the song recital by the choirs the music changed form and Olsons string band discoursed lively strains to tripping toes Dancing did not fag until about midnight when the company disported dis-ported after much spieling and a success ful outing |
