Show CAUSED A ROW ilcctlngofti Central Labor Unl ain a-in New Yorlc Today New York Jan 21The Central Labor union meeting last night brolve up in a row by a fight between Joseph Barondess of the Cloak Makers union and A J Smith of the Cloth Cutters union The meeting had about ended when Barondess through a delegate asked to be allowed to make a statement regarding regard-ing the charges of misappropriation made against him Smith after others had objected said that Barondess must account to the Amalgamated Board of Cloak Makers and Cutters Barondess then ran to the front of the hall and demanded to be heard but the chairman adjourned the meeting and Barondess attacked Smith The men clinched but were dragged apart and Barondess Was ejected Sarah Finklestein and Etta Gessner had fol lowed Barondess and while the men fought urged Barondess to thrash Smith The women remained after the fight and denounced Smith and others of the union |
