OCR Text	Show SELVES QUEEN STRIKE Ore Said to Be Improving In the Upraise Ed Baker superintendent of the Sil ver Queen mine in the south end of the Tintic district was in the city yesterday yester-day Speaking of the strike made in that mine n few days ago he says it Is I gradually looking better a work progresses An upraise is being run on the vein and some very nice ore Is being be-ing taken out and there is every Indication In-dication that the vein will lead to a rich pocket which is likely to be encountered en-countered at any time A crosscut is being run on the 200 level to catch the vein on the Liizerne claim Mr Baker says the formation in the crosscut is changing very fa and is of the opinion that he has encountered the capping to the veins
