Show ORGANIZING THE HOUSE Speaker Crisp Will See That It Is In Harmony Har-mony with the Administration NEW YORK July 29The Worlds Washington special says Crisp will organize the House in harmony with the wishes of the administration This is not due necessarily to any agreement he has s made but because he desires to carry into in-to effect the Democratic policy and the Democratic policy he believes is that I which has been determined upon as the best by the administration Whether Bland goes to the head of the coinage committee or not that committee will I favor unconditional repeal of the Sherman Sher-man act As to Bland himself it is not yet determined I de-termined whether he will again be chairman I chair-man That rests largely with himself i If he is appointed chairman the majority i of his committee will not be in sympathy with his free coinage sentiments The leading committees of the House will all be in accord with the presidents views In other words the House of the Fiftythird Congress will be differently organized from the Housa of the Fifty second Congress Crisp has expressed his purpose to members the administration to so organize his committees that they will be helpful to the presidents wishes Crisp could not be elected without contest possibly not at all i he had not been thus inclined for unity of action with the administration ad-ministration Besides changes in the Coinage committee there will be radical changes in the complexion of the Ways I and Means Appropriations and Rufes committees I |
