Show WOMEN NOW ORGANIZED They Have Taken Hold of the Home I Industry Movement The ladies interested in the home industry in-dustry movement met yesterday afternoon after-noon at the chamber of commerce building The name of the proposed organization was changed from Industrial In-dustrial Association to The Womens Home Industry Association of Utah The committee appointed at the previous pre-vious meeting submitted a form for the constitution which was read and after discussion adopted This constitution consti-tution provides that the objects shall be to encourage the home industry movement in all its branches The officers will consist of a president vicepresident recording secretary corresponding secretary treasurer board of nine directors and executive committee In order to extend the influence in-fluence of the association members will be received from all parts of the territory every woman being eligible A membership fee of 25 cents is to be charged The board of directors will meet every two weeks All of the ladies present signed the t constitution The membership fee was placed at 2 cents to bring the association associa-tion within the reach of all the women of the territory The directors selected were Mrs TV S McCornick Mrs Wil 3iam Jennings Mrs Antoinette B Kinney Kin-ney Mrs F S Richards Dr Ellen B Ferguson Mr J A Froiseth Mrs George A Lowe Mrs George Y Wal lace Mrs O J Salisbury They will meet on next Wednesday at the chamber of commerce to elect officers of-ficers and plan the future work of the association |
