and lumber rendered active by tho open season for building At Hartford trade in groceries clothing and hardware is very good in dry goods quiet and in wool weak At Philadelphia tho open weather affects trade in heavy dry goods and retail Business Busi-ness is not up to the average but textile works are generally busy though wool is very quiet Shoes ere steady with works 1 fully employed Iron IB in good demand and paper sells slowly at advanced quotations quota-tions Money is a little tighter much being placed atG percent i No material chance is seen at Baltimore though in some trades the
