Show MORRISJOSEPH 1 A Very Pretty Wedding Solemnized Last Evening The wedding of Miss Mamie Morris and Mr Harry S Joseph took place last evening at the home of the brides parents Mr and Mrs Isidor Morris on Second South street East The parlors were profusely decorated with potted plants and cut flowers the colors scarlet and white predominating The arch between the parlors was ornamented with smilax and suspended from it was a large horseshoe of cut flowers Beneath this the bridal party tood while the words were spoken which made the happy couple one Miss Rosalie Morris sister of the bride played the opening strains of Mendelssohns wedding march and the bridal party entered Miss Claudia Morris the brides youngest sister leading the way The bride followed leaning on the arm of her father Then came the bridesmaids Miss Stella Joseph the grooms sister and i Miss Hattie Rothenburg They were followed by Mrs Morris and Mrs Herman Bamberger Simultaneously entered the groom accompanied by i Mr Louis Bamberger and followed by Messrs Herman Bamberger Louis i Joseph and Joseph Bamberger i Owing to the absence of Rabbi Jacobson Jacob-son the ceremony was a double one consisting first of a civil ceremony i which was performed by Judge Norrell i and afterwards of the ecclesiastical ceremony with Rev Jacob Brodie officiating of-ficiating v After the ceremony and congratulations congratula-tions the guests were Invited to one of the most elaborate suppers ever served in this city The tables were handsomely decorated all reflecting credit upon the skill of Mrs Greenawahi of the St James who managed that very important part of the evenings pleasures The bride had never looked so charming charm-Ing as In her exquisite gown of cream colored ottoman silk trimmed with crystal crys-tal silk I was made en traine and a long veil of Brussels net caught up by orange blossoms enhanced the beauty of the costume She carried a lovely bouquet of lillies of the valley and bride roses Miss Claudia Morris was attired In a pretty and girlish costume of cream colored silk trimmed with flounces of cream lace also cream ribbons She carried a bouquet of Marechal Nell Net roses roses1iss Rosalie Morris wore a pretty gown of light blue crepe trimmed with blue velvet ribbon Mrs Norris wore an legant black corded sit Mrs Herman BambergerBlack striped satin with black lace Miss Stella Joesphs gown was of > White embroidered chiffon and herilow ers were violets Miss Rothenburg wore cream crystal silk trimmed with coral lace La France roses Mrs Jacob BambergerBlack silk elaborately trimmed with elegant lace I Mrs Joseph Oberndorfer was attired in a becoming street costume Miss Rolla Simon wore black satin with jet trimming I Mrs Eisman Black silk with black I striped chiffon and ribbon trimming I Miss Bertha Meyer Very pretty costume cos-tume of light blue combined with rose I Miss Celia OppenheimerChangeable silk trimmed with brown velvet Miss Barnes of Kaysvllle Black ilkwith black lace I Mr and Mrs Joseph were the recip ients of many elegant presents and many telegrams were sent by absent friends who desired to express their hearty congratulations and wishes for future happiness They left on the late train last evening even-ing for a short visit at Denver They will return next week and will be at home to their friends at 611 South Second Sec-ond East street after March 4 The guests who were either relatives or intimate friends Qf the bride and groom were Mr and Mrs Herman Bamberger Mr and Mrs Joseph Oberndorfer Mrs Eisman Mr and Mrs Jacob Bamberger Miss Celia Op I penheimer Miss Barnes Miss Rolla I Sym n Miss Bertha Meyer Mr Will Symen Jake Greenewald William God dard Louis mberger Mr Simon I Bamberger and others |
