deceased de-ceased Monday February 29 was set as the date for the return of account sales Th Natural GaB Drills Tho ColoradoUtah Natural Gas and Fuel company had a large gang of men and teams at work yesterday moving the engines en-gines boilers and machinery formerly used at the site in the eastern portion of the city The new company expects to have tho machinery all in readiness in about two weeks and the drills will be sent thundering thunder-ing toward the centre of the earth The drills will be erected within a short distance of the union depot in a most favorable spot for natural gas Impersonated the herHt Police Officer H C Hansen arrested two railroad men by the names of H Furguson and Thomas Hobbs yesterday on tho charge of obtaining money under false pretenses The prisoners were 1 brought to the city jail and soon after turned over to Sheriff Belnap for further disposal It seems the men become rather short of collateral and while out in the vicinity of Harrisville chanced to meet a couple of dago peddlers One of the fellows represented repre-sented himself to the traveling novelty stores as the sheriff of the county and told them that it was neccessary for them to have a license to peddle goods in the county and warned them that if they did net pay the regular license fee which was represented as being 3 for each he would take them into the county jail The dagoes thereupon dug up tG from their jeans and were told to come to the city and the license would be issued to them but on their way they told their story to Officer Hansen who soon had tho guilty parties under arrest The prisoners were arraigned before Judge Bishop and bound over to await a hearing at 2 oclock today Unable to procure the necessary security they were jugged The Cattlemens
