| Show ELECTRICITY OF MAS By Professor W M Hand 31 Un the Great Medical Electrician of Salt Lake City Utah It is generally supposed by medical men that there are innumerable causes for tho various diseases that are in existence and varous that even one disease may have many causes in nature to produce it But I believe be-lieve that there is only one grand cause for all disease This is the disturbing of the vital forces of the body This vital force I call electricity the most subtle and flue material of tho body It is tho power that moves the body I is the agent by which the mind through the nerves contracts the muscles and causes motion When the electricity elec-tricity the body is equalized throughout the nervous system the blood will be equal ized in its circulation and the natural result re-sult is health But when electricity is thrown out of balance the bcod is also dis turned aJd tie result is disease The medical med-ical man is much inclined to examine his patients pa-tients pulse and watch the movement of the blood This is well enough as by it he can determine the velocity of the circulating fluid But they seem to think that nearly all diseases originate in the blood and under this Impression has arisen hundreds of specifics or nostrums to purify the blood as if it contained some foreign matter mat-ter that rendered it Impure and that they must by medical treatment remove this f + + 5 + R4 ti this is fallacious The blood contains no foreign properties to render it impure It becomes impure only through the disturbed circulation Every particle of the blood in the whole body must every few moments pass through the lungs to be purified and kept from putrifaction and it can bo purified puri-fied by no other substance except what is contained In the air at the lungs That is Oxygen Electricity If any part of the blood is disturbed so that it cannot make its timely visit to the lungs it becomes ex travastated and impure and if any part of it is obstructed then wo have inflammation inflamma-tion ulceration and suppuration All diseases originate in the electricity of the nerves then it is communicated to the blood flesh and bones It begins in the finest and ends in the largest parts of the system The operation of the mind and the nervous system has been overlooked over-looked by medical men the brain is the fountain of the nervous system it sends forth millions of branches to every part of the body this nervous system is filled with electricity Though there is but ono grand cause of disease which is the electricity elec-tricity of the system thrown out of balance there are two modes by TVCuch it may bo done It may be done by mental impression or it may be done by physical impression Thousands of our race every year are swept from life to the darkness of death by disease caused by mental Impression Impres-sion the vital force is disturbed the system sys-tem is thrown out of balance disease ia Drought on and they go to their graves In view of this fact it becomes the duty of medical men to study more carefully the power the mind exercises over the body both as regards a disastrous or a salutary result Hence it becomes practitioners of medicine to keep the brightest of hopes of recovery before their patients The healing heal-ing principle then is a combination of medicine electricity and mental impression impres-sion which call the sanitary principles to the light and enables the system to do its work |
