Show The Graves Case DENVER Dec 10Tbe first witness in the GravesBarnaby case today was Dr J A Sewell of Denver university who gave an analysis of the bottle of liquid alleged to have caused the death of Mrs Baruaby Ho found the liquid contained K per cent of arsenic arsenite of potassium potas-sium and 21 per cent of alcohol ana judging judg-ing from the analysis the bottle contained 132 grains of arsenic and no whisky at all The bottle of liquid was then brought in by Detective MoPharland of Pinkertons agency and offered as evidence Prof Walter S Haines of Chicago testified as to his analysis of the fatal fluid Prof Headon who made an examination of the viscera and other or trans of the dead woman testified to finding arsenic in sufficient suffi-cient quantities tocausedeath Adjourned |
