Show RICH IS EDR1CKA The Bit Camp Is Lively and tho Mines are Doing Well A large crowd of the Denver Rio Grande Western officials visited Eureka yesterday It is supposed they aero on a tour of inspection and all seem very favorably fav-orably impressed with the camp and its future Work is being pushed on tho Eureka Hill mine switch and its completion comple-tion is anxiously looked for by the many v v VVJ vvv v u J v J idle miners in camp as the mine is to increase in-crease its working force as soon as the Tintic branch of the Denver Rio Grande can handle its ore output A great deal of prospecting has been done in the mine since they stopped ore shipmento and it is said that the mine has more ore in sight now than ever before since its discovery THE KEYSTONE is making regular shipments of very rich ore right along and is considered one of Tintics biggest mines now This property shows what intelligent use of money will do in the great lime belt There are many more claims that will prove as good as this when they fall into the hands of men with means to develop them and the coming season will bring plenty of such men to gladden the hearts of the prospector Mr Albert Seeigh who is interested with Dr Clark of Eureka brought in some very rioh gold rock from their claims south of Diamond this week The quartz was studded with nuggets of gold as large as beans and shows what Tintic can produce pro-duce The Union Pacific have changed their time so that person can come to Eureka have three hours to attend to business and return t Salt Lake tho same day The change is taken aduantage of by n 4 business men from the ity who find time to do business and leave before they have a chance to go broke Our business men report trade fair and picking up with favorable prospects for a busy season with the opening of spring A BUILDING ROOM will be started as soon as the weather permits per-mits Several large stores are to be built on upper Main street and many residences II as soon as the townsite question is settled The lumber men report trade good even now Thero were several claims in the country north of Eureka sold last season and much activity is looked for in North Tintic this year Prof Keyes and other wellknown experts who have examined that section report that big producers are to be opened up there The C W B group is very promising ground and as the owners are goii g to commence development when the snow is melted from the hills and have the means to sink a big strike is confidently looked for before another year Charlie Saviers has a force of men at work on the Albany and it is reported is in favorable formation for an ore body to bo found The Albany lies south ot the Cen tennialEureka The old Red Bird hoisting engine is being be-ing put up on the new threecompartment shaft at the Keystone and will be used sinking until the new big engine arrives and is put in place The owners propose to make the Keystone one of the best quipped mines in Utah and the output and development develop-ment justifies the outlay THE BULLIONBECK is sending out an immence lot of ore of good grade in fact what would be high I grade anywhere but in Tintic and there is enough in sight to make the mine worth double the price it was reported sold at recently re-cently No stock was taken in the report that the mine was sold for 3000000 as it would be like selling a silver dollar tor 50 cents the The CentennialEureka is not a heavy shipper at present as the steep road up to the mine is very slippery and dangerous to haul on but the quality of ore is such that = out a few tons will pay the monthly expenses ex-penses and leave a margin to pay for the I new big hoist they are going to put in soon I this company built a tramway down to the new railway track and built ore bins there they could send out ore all winter through and help to make Tintics output greater than the output of all other Utah comps put together The Mammoth is surely a creat mine and is being worked both economically and sys ternatically under the management of Mr I Nesbit No ore is being shipped at present owing to some trouble between the company com-pany and the orebuyers but prospecting is being prosecuted wild good results I EoitEiCi Jan 15 1892 I sickness Too good so they say for their benefit the physicians It is stated that our Home Dramatic club has connection connec-tion with the electrid line were lighted up together tonight for the first time in the history of Brigham It is remarked that the habitual chronic kickers have no electric lights in tneir establishments On account of the great fall of snow this season the sheep herds that have in the past wintered out in the western part of the county have been brought in and are now being fed on hay Those who have hay to sell are quite jubilant at the prospect pros-pect of good prices A party ot four young men from this place bad a rather lough time in Dry lake a few miles east of Brigham The
