Show I A CURIOUS REASON The Grounds Which Mr Crackles Got a Continuance William Crackles a house painter and a resident of the Twentyfirst Ward was arrested yesterday morning on a complaint sworn to by the man of omniscient knowledge D W Rench and charging the defendant with haying hay-ing lived from January 1st 1884 to December 1 1886 with Mrs William Crackles and Mattie Doe Crackles whose other or true names are to the complainant as yet unknown The case was not proceeded with owing ow-ing to the Commissioners stating that it was one Of Arthur Pratts cases and that it would have to go over nine days pending that gentlemans return Bail was fixed at 500 |
