1889 HENRY ADAMS Notary Public As far as I am concerned it was a suprise I do not even know the reverend consolidator consolida-tor of church and state W N P Dailey nor have I ever been in company with Anton Christiansen when those questions gn been k3n and my name has been i unjustly and without my knowledge connected I con-nected with it On the evening of Nov 24 ult John I Witbeck of Nephi asked me the age of R Iverson and I told him He asked if he was naturalized I answered he was native born I also told him his father was a naturalized citizen I do not know if he has contributed anj of this to the Nephi Dailey but the other questions were never answered by me The second question had I answered it as printed would have been a wilful falsehood false-hood his family was then and had been for some time with him in Salt Lake city i and he owns no real estate here I am at a loss to understand why the man took the recommend for his own honest face would have commended him to any earthly Powers without it Yours truly N P RASMCSSEN LEVAX Juab county Utah |
