| Show Exhibition Goods I Washington SThe treasury de pirtment Udiy instructed collectors nnd other custom officers that railway appliances arriving from abroad destined des-tined for the national exhibition of railroad rail-road appliances to be held in Chicago in 1883may be shipped by bonded common carriers from the port of arrival to Chicago Chi-cago under the provisions of the act approved ap-proved June 10th 1880 Upon arrival arri-val at Chicago the goods will be taken possession of by the collector of customs and entry for warehouse in the usual manner will be required After the bonding of tho exposition building an appraisement will be made and the rate and amount of duties be determined A circular is issued giving details of the methods of storage and requirements incase in-case of the disposal of any of the good |
