Show WestBtfl. ' The David Monsons have been busy, as usual, trying to make a happier world. Jed-da's Jed-da's mother, Geneve Mercer, celebrated her 80th birthday. Shewas honored a an open house in Lehi. Saturday the Monsons had her and her two sons, Jedda's brothers, meet with them for dinner. Afterwards the men attended Priesthood meeting at the Regional Center. The sons are Charles Mercer, from Simi Valley, Calif, who flew in for the event; and Bill Mercer, wife Beverly and two children, from Menan, Ida. The Monsons are still happy over the recent mission call of their son Jed, who will serve in Denmark, and over the fact that their daughter, Kathy, who is attending BYU is participating par-ticipating in special ballroom dancing activities and in folk dancing. The Loyd Pagets have been excited all week over the fact that their son Richard is coming home from the mission mis-sion field Saturday. Curt Rasmussen, former West Bountifulite and son of the Neil Rasmussens, was visiting with Kevin Freestone at conference in Salt Lake City last Sunday. Congratulations to Keith Buys and Suzie Hoffman in being selected to be members of next year's Viewmont Madrigals. Their music will do much to show the world that somebody cares. The Earl Arnolds daughter! Earlene and husband Dr. Douglas Smith and children Leazel and Ryan were down from Idaho for Sunday dinner. Their son. Bob, wife Rebecca, and young Nathan joined the special event. Lynn Cannon and family from Heber were also seen at Conference on Sunday. Over the weekend The Gerald Stouts flew to El Paso, Tex. to get their son, Marc. They spent many hours Sa- turday touring Juarez.
