Show Epsilon Chapter Guests Miss Amy Owen, director of Special Services for the Utah State Library, and Miss Mary Southwell, director of acquisitions for the Utah State Library, were special guests at the regular meeting of Epsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma at the home of Miss Dorothy Streeper in Centerville. THE SERVICES of the state library, financed by state and federal taxes, are available to every citizen and every community com-munity of the state, explained Miss Owen. This service includes ordering, or-dering, cataloging, "weeding "weed-ing out," and consulting services. ser-vices. Miss Owen explained . the incredible retrieval services ser-vices available with the use of computerized services and inter-library loan systems. THE CHILDREN'S Story Contest, sponsored by Epsilon Chapter in all the high schools in Davis County, has had good representation according to Mrs. Margaret Barnett, chairman of special projects. The clever and colorful original stories are in the process of being judged by teachers and children in elementary classrooms throughout the county. A dramatic photographic display of all the children in her classroom at Hilltop Elementary School was displayed by Mrs. Rosemary Brantley. MISS LINDA Jensen of Salt Lake City entertained with several classic and contemporary contem-porary vocal solos. The program was under the direction of Mrs. Marjorie Clayton, chairman of professional profes-sional services for Epsilon Chapter. The Southwest Regional Conference of Delta Kappa Gamma in Salt Lake City on July 17-23, and the State DKG Convention at Weber College on April 22 were topics of interest to the members.
