Show Farmington By KATHRYN JENNINGS 867-2027 The Farmington Fifth Ward has reorganized the Relief Society recently. Jodie Tennant is president; Elaine Watts, first counselor and Pat Ungerman, second counselor; Carolee Carter is secretary. The Literary Guild will meet at the home of Ernestine Held on Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. Mrs. Held will provide the program, demonstrating the technique of making stained glass windows and other items. The club will not meet again until the Christmas party in mid-December. Golda Richards has relumed re-lumed from a tour with the-BYU the-BYU study group. They went to Israel for the dedication of the M. Orson Hyde Memorial Garden on the Mount of Olives. The group visited many of the important places throughout the area of the Holy Land. The Farmington Lions Club members have been distributing dis-tributing the new calendars, for them. In charge of the calendar drive for the Lions Club has been a fine new member, Dave Davis. The Farmington Elementary Elemen-tary School PTA will be observing ob-serving Safety Week all of this week. There will be special programs during the week. School will be closed Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Nov. 23. Nov. 26-30 will be National Book Week with special programs and events all during dur-ing the week. |
