TO ENTERTAIN Utah Society Completes Plans Flans for the Reception of Eminent Min Nin Mining Mining ing Men Nen Additional plans for the entertainment of the members of ot the American Institute Institute tute of Mining Engineers who will wUl visit in Salt Lake on Oct 7 8 and 9 were discussed at a meeting of a number or of local members of the organization at the Commercial club last night During the first two tIO days das of the stay of the visitors they will be entertained by the local members of the American Institute of Mining Engineers but on Saturday the guests will be turned over overto overto overto to the Utah Society of Engineers who have arranged an excellent program for their entertainment R Forrester and J Bryce Forrester of the Utah society the former also being a member of the American society have been delegated to see that the visitors are properly enter epter entertained tamed d on Saturday The distinguished party of engineers will arrive in the city at 7 1 Thurs Thursday Thursday Thursday day morning on the Rio Grande and from then on they will wiil be kept busy do doing doing doing ing the city and surroundings Nothing has been scheduled thus far for their entertainment Friday night but it was stated last night by local engineers that the visitors would probably be given a banquet at the Commercial club Present at the meeting last night were Duncan Lafayette Hanchett Robert Forrester W Y L Austin F D Brown R H I Barbour Bar ur and several others
