Show , i v. v' i 'I " i Roy Coleman SERVICES HELD FOR ROY COLEMAN Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Tuesday morning in the Milford Community Methodist Meth-odist Church for Leonard (Roy) Pomeroy Coleman. Mr. Coleman, 87, died in a San Francisco hospital of causes caus-es incident to age, Saturday, Aug. 30. He was born Sept. 27, 1881, in Scranton, Iowa, to Hiram and Mary Pomeroy Coleman. He married Mabel Severance, in 1907. She died in 1938. He married Delilah Mastros in 1942. She died in 1947. Mr. Coleman had been prominent prom-inent in Milford and West Beaver Bea-ver County mining circles for many years before his retirement. retire-ment. He had been a Union Pacific employee, and was a member of the I O O F. For many years he was Milford Mil-ford city marshal. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Dan and David Coleman, Milford; Roy Coleman, Fresno, Cal.; Mrs. Ted (Gladys) Zelms, San Francisco; Mrs. Lewis (Beth) Wolfe, Saratoga, Sara-toga, Cal.; Mrs. Earl F. (Eva) Stonehocker, Salt Lake; five step-children; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; a brother, Orville Coleman, Twin Falls, Idaho. The services, under direction of Rev. Grayson Gowern of Cedar City, were as follows: Prelude and postlude music, Mrs. Myrtle Tribole. Invocation, Rev. Gowen. Remarks, Joe C. Smith. Solo, "The Lord's Prayer," Lamar Lund, accompanied by Mrs. Lund. Benediction, Rev. Gowen. Graveside services in the Milford City Cemetery were under direction of IOOF Lodge No. 42. Flowers were cared for by ladies of the Rcbckahs. Out of town relatives here to attend the services included Gladys and Ted Zelms, San Francisco, Cal.; Eva and Earl Stonehocker Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stonehocker Jr., Bobby Stonehocker, Stone-hocker, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Allen Coleman, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Coleman, all of Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Munk, San Pablo, Cal.; Beth and Lew Wolf, daughter Kaye and children, Saratoga, Cal.; Mrs. Norma Valetti, Mrs. Marie Seeger and Mrs. Marilyn Christy, Chris-ty, all of California. |
