Show MLss Wilma Bowler and Raphael Leavitt Marry At Gunlock Saturday GUNLOCK, Utah. The home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee V. Leavitt in Gunlock was the scene at noon Saturday, Jan. 17, of the marriage of MLss Wilma Bowler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Bowler of Veyo, to their son, Raphael, of Gunlock. Officiating in the wedding ceremony was Bishop Henry Bowler, uncle of the bride, in the presence of a large group of relatives and a few intimate friends. For her marriage the bride was gowned in a floor-length model of white silk jersey with a corsage of red rose buds and gardenias, and was attended by her sister, Miss Roma Bowler, who wore blue taffeta. Rodney Leavitt, brother of the groom was best man. Following the ceremony the bridal party were guests at a family dinner served by the parents par-ents at the Leavitt home, plates being set for 24. In the evening a reception honored hon-ored the couple at the Gunlock ward chapel with more than 200 people attending the program and dance. The bride wore her wedding wed-ding dress for the occasion and the couple were attended as they were for the ceremony. Also in the receiving line for the event were the parents of both bride and groom, and their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Bowler, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum E. Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hunt. They plan to make their home in Gunlock where the groom is employed. |
