Show p Relatives Attend Pendleton Funeral Mon. 15. F. Pendleton and his sister. "Violet Church, of this city attended at-tended funeral services in Pan- guitch Monday for their brother, Wilford W. Pendleton, who died suddenly at the family home Friday. Fri-day. Jan. 17, of heart attack. He was aged 65. Bora at St. George. Nov. 27, 1S76. Wilford W. Pendleton was a son of Benjamin F. and Alice Jeffrey Pendleton, Dixie Pioneers. He married Lucy Underwood of Beaver in the St. George" Temple, May 1. 1900, having made his home in Panguitch since 1S9S, following fol-lowing the profession of blacksmith black-smith and machinist. Active in church and civic affairs, af-fairs, he has served as justice of the peace, library board member, member of the bishopric for 20 years, and Sunday school officer and stake board member, and in other activities. Surviving besides the St. George relatives are his sons and daughter, daugh-ter, W. Earl and Grant Pendleton and Mrs. Thelma Orton of Panguitch; Pan-guitch; Nellie Henri. Las Vegas; George Pendleton, Reno and 12 grandchildren. |
