Show DEATH CALLS A. A. RUBY Amasa Alfred Ruby passed away Sunday, January 25, at his home in Washington after an illness of mere than four months. He was born October 9, 1855, in Springville, Utah, and came to Washington in 18G8. In 1879 he was married to Modena Chidester and to this union were bom 11 children, four of v:hom, with his widow, survive. They are Mrs. Gus Fullerton and Mrs. Howard Pectol Pec-tol of St. George, Mrs. Rose Hal-ford Hal-ford of Burlcy, Idaho, and Mrs. Burr Waters of Beaver, Utah. Funeral services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday at Washington under the direction of John Tanner. The speakers were M. M. Harmon, D. H. Morris, Albert E. Miller and H. T. Atkin. Vocal solos were rendered ren-dered by Mrs. Melba Baker, Mae-sel Mae-sel Sproul and Leonard Sproul. Interment In-terment was in the Washington cemetery. |
