Show Springville man marries girl from Arizona in church rites Announcement is made of the marriage of Linda Renard, daughter of Mi. and Mrs. Dale Renard of Phoenix, Arizona, and Harold G. Stuart, AJham-tra, AJham-tra, California, son of Mr. and. Mrs. Lloyd Stuart of this city. The marriage took place at the First Free Methodist Church, March 8, in Phoenix. Rev. Lindh Young performed the wedding ceremony. Organist Organ-ist was Bernice Erickson. Orval Heath, Jt., uncle of the groom sang vocal solos. The church was decorated with candles in the windows and two round candelabra? and two tapered candelabras. Cendle lighters were the Misses Karren and Marcia Vaughn, cousins of the bride. They wore garnet colored dresses dress-es styled to match the attendants. attend-ants. Their flowers were wrist-- wrist-- lets of garnet rosebuds. Matron of honor was Mrs. John Heath of Glendale, California, Cal-ifornia, aunt of the groom. Bridesmaids were Raylaine Erough, Etcondido, California, and Lyndia Scott of San Bernardino, Ber-nardino, California. They were attired in rose pink velvet, floor-length, A-line gowns with boat neckline and short sleeves. The panel down the back was accented by a large bow at the V-neckline. Their flowers were white feathered mums with garnet baby rosebuds and garnet gar-net streamers. The bride's gown was English Eng-lish Primrose lace over satin, with traditional long sleeves, bow at the bustline with train-falls-' from the shoulders, providing pro-viding a cage effect. Her veil was bridal illusion, waist-length, waist-length, trimmed with lace and topped by a pearl and sequin tiara. Bridal bouquet was of white feathered mums with baby pink rose buds and pink streamers. Bob Unger of Los Angeles was best man. Ushers were John Heath, uncle of the groom from Gen-dale, Gen-dale, California; Max Koenig, uncle of the groom, Los Angeles, Ange-les, California; Richard Stuart, brothel of the groom from Springville. Mother of the bride wore a turquoise blue bonded knit j c r sey street-length sheath, with matching color for her hat and gloves. The bridegroom's bride-groom's mother was dressed in v. pale green brocade satin A-line street-length gown. Following the ceremony a reception re-ception was held at the Phoenix, Phoe-nix, Christian High School. The newlyweds honeymooned in Noorthern California. They will make their home at Alhambra, California. For the reception, Miss Sue Farmer was at the guest book. At the gift table were Mrs. Orval Heath Jr. mint nf fch Mrs. Harold G. Stuart, nee Linda Renard , r groom and Mrs. Max Koenig, another aunt of the groom, both of Los Angeles. Serving were Mrs. Emily Oesterle, Mrs. Nadine Crain and Charlotte Vaughn. The bride's going away dress was a gold wool A-line dress with brown plaid jacket and gold and brown accessories. The bride is a graduate of Phoenix Christian High School. She spent a year at Beola College Col-lege in LaMirada, California; two and a half years at Los Angeles County Medical Center School of Nursing and graduated gradu-ated in February of this year. She is presently working at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, California. The groom attended schools in Springville and then graduated gradu-ated from the Spanish Fork High School. He spent four years in the Navy in the Bahamas Ba-hamas and Carribbean in oce-anographic oce-anographic research. He is now working for the Pacific Telephone Tele-phone Company in Los Angeles, California. |
