Show .Newlyweds Honored at Dinner; Also Reign at Stake Ball Now making their home in Springville are newly-weds newly-weds Mr. and Mrs. J. Von Atkinson. Mrs. Atkinson is the former Miss Leta Ekker. The young: couple recited wedding vows in the Salt Lake Temple on March 28th with Elder Joseph F. Merrill of the Council of the Twelve Apostles, officiating. officiat-ing. Immediately after their marriage, mar-riage, the young couple were honored hon-ored at a wedding breakfast held in the Temple Square Hotel, with relatives and close friends in attendance. at-tendance. The following evening they were guests of honor at a family dinner given, by the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John G. Ekker, at their home. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Atkinson and Merrill Atkinson, parents and brother of the bridegroom, bride-groom, all from Pocatello, Idaho; Miss Lucille Sorenson from Orem, Gerrit, Louise, and Jimmie Ekker, Mr. and Mrs. J. Von Atkinson, and the host and hostess. The table was lovely with tall burning tapers and a centerpiece of pastel spring flowers and carnations. car-nations. Immediately after the dinner din-ner the group attended the Stake Gold and Green ball where the hew Mr. and Mrs. Atkinson represented the Fourth ward in the icings' and Queens' dance in the floor show. |
