Show Local Man Takes Bride In Rites ' Performed at Austin, Texas In the new LDS ward chapel at Austin, Texas, De Moyne Blackley, son of Mrs. Blanch Blackley Brown of Springville, took Miss Darline Hinkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Harold Hinkins of Provo as his bride, in a ceremony performed March 23, by Bishop Lloyd Watson. Cpl. Leon Blackley, brother of the groom, stood as best man and Mrs. Foyne Tippetts of Salt Lake City, sister of the bride, was matron mat-ron of honor. Going down to Texas for the wedding from Utah, were Mrs. Brown of Springville, mother of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Foyne Tippetts of Salt Lake City; also the bride's brother, Harold Hinkins Hin-kins of Provo. Several of De Moyne's friends at the army camp, Fort Hood, Texas, were also given the wed-end wed-end leave and witnessed the wedding wed-ding rites including Cpl. and Mrs. David Lindstrom. After the wedding, the couple were guest of honor at the Gold and Green ball of the Austin LDS ward. The Saturday before the wedding Del Moyne was given the privilege of baptizing his wife to become, a member of the LDS church at Austin. The newlyweds were to leave shortly after the wedding for Fort Sill, Okla., where they will be stationed sta-tioned indefinitely, along with other members of the . National Guard, who have been training at Fort Hood, Texas. |
