Springville Couple Make Home Here Following Temple Rites, Reception Now making their home in Springville are newly-weds newly-weds Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Crandall, who exchanged vows in the Salt Lake Temple September 16 and were :: i y ; i : - , , i- v;-v' .. ' ' ;; ; .-. i t: . . V"- honored with a reception in the Third-Ninth ward church on Friday Fri-day evening. The popular young bride, formerly. for-merly. Miss Sharon Clayson, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Clayson and Gordon's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Crandall, also of Springville. Witnessing the temple rites were parents of the couple and a number of relatives including Mrs. Ann Carpenter, Morgan; Mrs. Ar-vella Ar-vella Hendrickson, Jerome, Ida.-Mr. Ida.-Mr. and Mrs. Reed Shepherd, Lake Shore; Mrs. Charlotte Clark, Salt Lake City; R. L. Shepherd, Lake Shore; also Mr. and Mrs. Clan Stilson, neighbors of the Claysons. The party was joined by Mr. and Mrs. Martin Reed for a wedding breakfast hosted by the parents of the bridegroom at a Salt Lake cafe. Pink carnations and silver wedding bells were employed as the decorative motif. For the reception the lovely dark-haired bride wore a gown of nylon tulle and satin with chapel tr'ain, ,and tiny button trim down the back. A circlet of orange blossoms blos-soms held her veil and she carried car-ried an orchid and split carnation bouquet tied with velvet ribbons. Attending the bride were Ann Carpenter as matron of honor, Re-nee Re-nee Clayson as maid of honor, and Ludean Pyper, Sherry Barnett, Val Greaves, Veda Reid and Carol Lee Clayson, bridesmaids. Lynn Crandall was best man. The couple greeted their friends in an archway of white blossoms and ferns, highlighted by huge white wedding bells tied with white satin ribbon. At the door were Mr. and Mrs. Martin Reed and Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hunter. Vonda C. Sanford and Arvilla Hendrickson attended the guest registry. Gift bearers were Marlene Clayson Clay-son and Donna Brueninger and in the gift room were Mrs. Ed Brueninger, Bruen-inger, Mrs. Jo Frotheringham, Norma Roylance and Jane Harrison. Harri-son. ' Gary Crandall was usher. Interest in the serving rooms centered on the three-tiered -wedding cake topped with small bride and groom in an archway of orange blossoms. Mrs. Marvil Flom was dining-room dining-room hostess and serving were Shirley Murray, Sheryl Nelson, Karen Peterson, Verla Lewis, Cleo Badsgaard, Marilyn Ollerton, Mar-la Mar-la Williams and Myrna Williams. In the kitchen were Mrs. Bliss Packard, Eileen Jensen and Minnie Min-nie Lowham. During the reception piano music mu-sic was played by Mrs. Lawrence Clark of Provo. Both young peopel are graduates of Springville High School and Seminary. Gordon has finished two years at Brigham Young University Univer-sity and has recently received his discharge from the army having served in Korea.
