Show 1 Bride-to-be is Honored at Shower Friday One of the loveliest social functions func-tions of the week was the bridal shower given Friday evening complimenting com-plimenting Miss V. Joan Smith, who is to be married March 19. The party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Hardy in Springville with Mrs. Robert Fly-gare Fly-gare (Ruth Hardy), Salt Lake, Mrs. Cecil Ferguson (Carol Con-over), Con-over), Springville; Mrs. Ramona Kensinger, f Salt Lake and Mrs. Joyce Johnson (Joyce Hardy) Murray, Mur-ray, acting as hostesses. Pink rose-buds were used in room decorations and the entertainment enter-tainment featured bridal games. During the evening also pictures were taken of the bride opening her many pretty gifts and of the entire group. Luncheon was served to twenty-one twenty-one close friends of the bride-to-be including also her mother, Mrs. Vi Smith, her fiance's mother, Mrs. Herman Scholer both of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Anna B. Christensen of Salt Lake and a number from Proov. |
