Show ? Friends Greet Couple At Church Wedding A pretty wedding of late autumn was that of Miss Elsie Brailsford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Brailsford of this city, and La Verl Wm. Aston, son of Mr. and Mrs Refreshments were served by a group of girl friends and the gift rooms were supervised by Valene Thorn, Nancy Ruth Erick-son Erick-son and Vea Mae Brailsford. After the reception, the couple left on a few days' honeymoon and upon their return, will make their home in Salt Lake City. Wm. Aston of Orem. $ The ceremony was performed by Bishop Howard Maycock of the First ward in the ward chapel on Friday evening, October 10. Immediate family members and close friends were in attendance. Attired in an attractive wedding wed-ding gown of white satin, the bride also wore a silk ijet fashioned fash-ioned to her head with a crown Of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet bou-quet of rose-buds and orchids with streamers of white satin ribbon. Lila Brailsford, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and the Misses Dee St. Jeor, Betty Aston and Ida Hardy were bridesmaids. They were each dressed in a pastel pas-tel colored formal and wore corsages cor-sages in contrasting colors. Eldon Aston of Orem was best man. The reception featured a program pro-gram of which J. E. Bybee was master of ceremonies. Mrs. Eileen Johnson gave vocal solos; Ruth Lowe, a reading; Shirley Foote, a tap dance; Helen Ash, a reading; read-ing; Gwen Mecham, an accordian selection; Don Webber, a solo. |
