Show Shower Given To Honor New Bride A lovely bridal shower honoring Melva Deane Bird Oberhansley was held in the Mapleton church Friday evening. The large group of friends who were present enjoyed a program with Phylis Johnson as toastmis-tress. toastmis-tress. Numbers included a vocal solo by Ann Oberhansley; reading, read-ing, Iris Dibble; vocal solo, Na-dene Na-dene Fluckiger; reading, Marie Huff; piano solo, Jane Harrison; Hawaiian dance number by petite two-year-old Susan Ellis, and a toast to the brideby Phylis Hunter. Hun-ter. Refreshments were served by Elaine Child, Geroldene Frances, Maurine Bird, Yvonne Hurst, Margaret Mar-garet Jones and Carlyn Carter. The gift room was in charge of Inez Harmer and Millie Bird. Helping in the kitchen were Ester Hurst, Louise Jensen, Alga Mack-ley Mack-ley and Amanda Binks.
