Show Springville Couple Takes Vows In Home Wedding Christmas Eve In a holiday setting complete with Christmas Christ-mas tree and wedding bells charming Miss Ann Lhnstensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Del- mome unnstensen recited-vows recited-vows with Phil Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Smith also of Springville, Christmas eve. The ceremony was performed perform-ed by the bride's father, Bishop Bish-op DelMoine Christensen of the Twelfth ward, in the soft glow of candles at the home of an aunt, Mrs. Helen Anderson, in the presence of immediate family fam-ily members and close friends. Attired in a wedding gown of lace and chiffon with fitted bodice and long lace sleeves, the bride carried a bouquet consisting of a white orchid surrounded with white gardenias. garden-ias. Her finger-tip veil fell from a crown of seed pearls. Her only attendants were Miss Karen Holdaway and Susan Christensen, sister of the bride. Best man to the groom was his friend, Kenneth Norton. The young couple was honored hon-ored with an informal reception recep-tion and buffet luncheon immediately im-mediately after the ceremony with approximately sixty-five guests in attendance. Both are graduates of the Springville High School and LDS Seminary and Ann has been attending Snow College. They are making their home in Salt Lake City, where Phil is employed. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Smith are making their home in Salt Lake City following wedding Christmas eve. Mrs. Smith is the former for-mer Miss Ann Christensen. |
